Tian Tian Nasi Lemak@Old Woodlands Central

Dear all, this week we will be introducing great and yet cheap Nasi-Lemak to you guys. The store is currently located beside #02-73 at old woodlands central. After the hawker centre was renovated, a lot of us thought it has closed for good.
Fortunately, it is reopen to satisfy us again.

The selling point of this Nasi-Lemak is the the "cook-as-you-order" style. The sun shine egg and juicy chicken wing or drumstick are fried when you order the food. This allow you to enjoy the freshness of the Nasi-Lemak. But the con is, the long queue which may turn you off. You can refer to the photos uploaded for more information.

*Mind you, if you intend to order many packets, please pre-order from them earlier.

Cheers and enjoy

Party with Crab!

Hi all, apologize for not updating this blog as my comp had been down for a month plus! This week, we will introduce you something different.

What are the options you have if you want to have crabs at home?
1) Go to wet market or supermarket, buy the raw crab, go home, kill the crab and cook it! Later clear up all the mess created during the process. That sound a bit off..

2) Go to the nearest coffee shop [by car or your kar(foot)] with a stir fry store and order two crabs, wait for around 20 min or so, bring it home and start to enjoy them.

Both the above options take time and effort. Why not consider a third option where you can order the crab from someone living in Marsiling!
The crabs you order will be delivered to your place and you can even have a few type of sauces to go with the crabs!

In the same package, you will also get a few side dish. The price for 6kg of crab with oriental mantou, cobs and snacks for 5 pax cost $188.

Check out the type of sauces available and the great offer at

Contact the sale person: Sherrie@9069 1900 for more information

Have crab party at the expense of others' effort time and enjoy at your own comfort!

Thanks for supporting fun@marsiling, making marsiling a fun place!

Upcoming post, rem the homely nasi lemak at Old Woodlands Central and if you assume it had closed for good, then you are so wrong!
See you and we will reveal that in the next posting!

Marsiling Very Own Botak Jones

Welcome to Fun@Marsiling again.
This week, we will be introducing Marsiling very own Botak Jones, which is at Woodgrove area along Woodlands Ave 1.

I had personally tried the food that and my advice is not to over-order the food. For a couple, you will be suprise that sharing of a Fish and Chip is more than enough for two.

Woodgrove Parking used to be free but unfortunately it is converted to 1st one hour free only. Hope you enjoy your stay there.

Feel free to email us any intel you would like to share regarding any fun thing in Marsiling.

Blk 326 Coffee Shop-Zi Zar Store could be operated by Tang Hu

Visted this store that was reported on radio to be operated by an Ex-Actor from TCS Tang Hu.
When we reached there, the whole place was so packed.
Managed to get seats for my family and had order some simple dishes to test out standard.

From the pictures, on the top is common fried vegi and their famous bean curb which I must say is not bad. At the bottom is egg and soup which is quite common.

At the coffee shop, we had seen quite a number of people ordering those steamboat style fish head soup. Perhaps if you intend to visit them, you can order that as well.

Overall, the food is okay.

You can visit the http://www.flickr.com/photos/low_willie/sets/72157618300506226/
and use the map function to give you a rough idea on where the location is.

With that, we will end our post this week.

Kind send us your intel on good food in marsiling as well!

Cheers.
